I’ve been coming to this fish place all the way back from when it was owned by Cece my dad‘s friend And today the way I was treated because I asked for a remake on overcook fish. Instead, he got an attitude and gave me back my money instead of remaking my food I didn’t come in with the attitude no intentions to get money back Also that I made it all the way home realizing that My fish was overcooked. I actually walked in with a good attitude because I know mistakes do happen but the way that these people don’t believe in customer service is terrible. I asked for a remake and instead he rudely gave me back my money so I will no longer be supporting this establishment. I’ve grown up in this neighborhood for 40 years and anybody that I know that goes here I will not recommend this place andI’mma tell them not to come here back to bates or Compton fish market I’ll go

Not many good fried fish places left around LA/South Bay area but, this one is good. They fried the fish hard like I like . The fish and shrimp had good seasoning and wasn't over salted like some of the fish places.

Good food for the price. Always fresh. Seasoned good. Good service. My only complaint is they run out of greens often but that's because they are so good. 👍🏾

First time there, I got the fillet of Sole. The fish was cooked perfectly and seasoned jist as good. The fries where good and cooked just right. The tartar sauce was delicious, only thing I didn't like was the potato salad. You can tell it is store bought, plus the roll was as hard as a baseball. I still gave them 5 stars cause the fish was cooked perfectly which is the reason I went there. May I suggest you guys having a competition in the neighborhood to find someone's grandma that can make potato salad, and that will solve that. Plus you need to add hush puppies to the menu.

I purchased Fish (Red Snapper & Sole), oysters, chicken, Jumbo Shrimp, hush puppies, and Rolls. The food was delicious all the Seafood was fresh plus Fried To a Perfection. Now the rolls weren't too fresh but still Delicious! I definitely look forward to going again. ♥️
